This swatch is at the heart of the SMC range. Refined and expanded over twenty years, it carries most edgings demanded by the UK market, whether they be mass market of niche. Available off the shelf in 22mm, with many patterns also stocked in different widths. Our core range of plastic edgings are in 0.4mm. Now grown to 29 different patterns, SMC are adding to the range all the time according to the deamds of our customers. Our Lissa Oak is set to be added in the near future. While the majority of our 0.4mm range is still sold in PVC, we have started the change to ABS, which should be largely complete some time in 2009.
SMC only stock the highest quality veneered edgings.
That is not a statement made lightly. Even the carefully matched finger joins
are all but invisible. Stocked in 22mm, 30mm and 50mm, both in unglued and
preglued, we stock edgings that are a careful match to the main veneered boards
available in the UK. We also carry stocks of pre-lacquered veneers in some
species, and we can source just about any specific or exotic veneer you might
wish to use, in surprisingly small quantities.
The SMC 2mm plastic range is also based upon the melamine range. Now comprising of 20 patterns, it is continually being updated and expanded to reflect the market. Most 2mm patterns are now in ABS, and the rest will soon move from PVC to ABS. If we don't hold the pattern that you require in stock, we can still source it.
