The financial crisis which engulfed us all has made every one of us sit up and take notice of our markets. 

 

Here at SMC we have decided to break out of our spot in an uncertain marketplace, and look towards delivering a better service for all our existing customers whilst providing solutions for a whole new group of customers. And in this way we could give more to all of you. 

 

The simple first step in this development was to banish the word NO from our vocabulary when it came to phone enquiries. 

 

We figured that if we could replace no with YES we could satisfy more customers, and therefore more of them would come back to us in the knowledge that SMC will find you the solution. 

 

Of course, that is easily said, but much harder to achieve. However, help was at hand. SMC joined forces with Czech firm Hranipex and their vast range of over 700 plastic edgings. Added to this is the constant expansion of the product range as more patterns are needed. 

The range not only includes a plethora of patterns, but many are available across a whole variety of widths and thicknesses too. 

 

We can supply any of these edgings either unglued or preglued, so this range is available to the smallest as well as the biggest customers. 

 

Now add the icing on the cake - you can have as much or as little of any of these patterns as you want with orders from just 10 metres, and all for a very reasonable price. 

 

This is in addition to the existing SMC ranges, so it doesn't replace, but enhances our service to you.
