We specialise in melamine and real wood veneer edgebandings, which are available in 100m, 50m and random roll sizes. We can supply all material unglued, or with an SMC applied ‘hot melt’ glue coating. Whether you need a large quantity of a popular pattern or have a very individual edging problem to solve in a hurry – we’re here to help.
Our business is built on helpful service, expert knowledge, quick delivery, and overall a huge stockholding which is available for same day dispatch. Founded in 1983, SMC began life as a supplier of general furniture fittings. We soon realised however that specialising in the supply of edging materials was to be the engine behind the company’s future success.
From a one-room operation, the company quickly grew to occupy two industrial units. In September 2004, SMC made the move to much larger production facilities and purchased a new, unique glue coating machine, to join the existing two. This took the company to new levels of service capability, and an even better quality of glueing. Now web-based, with a unique on-line database system for total customer satisfaction, SMC are leading the way in edgebanding supply.
